BLOOM WITHIN :: a morning watercolor journey into flowers + stillness

$45.00

Slow down, breathe, and create in a gentle, beginner-friendly space. This two-hour gathering blends simple watercolor flower painting with guided meditation and mindful connection. No experience needed—just bring an open heart.

You’ll learn basic watercolor techniques, paint soft floral forms, and explore breath-and-brush practices to soothe the nervous system and awaken creativity. We’ll close with reflection, tea, treats, and a small take-home mantra to keep the inspiration flowing.

All are welcome. Come as you are, and bloom.

About the Facilitator //

Alison Ritrovato is a mixed-media artist, mindfulness teacher, and former APRN whose creative work is an extension of her long-standing devotion to spirituality, healing, and presence. For many years, she guided individuals and groups through meditation, yoga, and holistic wellness, opening her own practice and teaching in both private and community settings. When the COVID-19 pandemic brought unexpected changes, Alison turned inward—and toward art.

What began as a personal exploration quickly grew into a passion. Over the past five years, she has immersed herself in creative study with exceptional teachers, been accepted into juried shows, and received awards for work that speaks to both heart and spirit. Drawn especially to portraiture, Alison aims to capture the inner essence of her subjects—their soul, energy, or story—through intuitive, layered compositions. Her process is deeply meditative, guided by a quiet conversation between artist and subject.

Today, Alison teaches others to blend mindfulness and creativity in their own practice, helping students access a place of stillness and authenticity from which true art can emerge. She believes that when artist and viewer both connect to something deeper through a piece, something magical happens.
