the NEW LONDON DRONE ORCHESTRA // a unique musical performance
Photograph by Michael Rogers
The New London Drone Orchestra is protean collective that has been manifesting sustained, layered, gradually evolving, timeless sound since 2017. Their group improvisation emerges organically through deep listening and making space, sometimes guided by graphic scores (pictures or films they "play") or text scores (little recipes for making sound). They prefer to play in unique environments, which have included the sanctuary of a chapel, a high school planetarium, an arboretum, and 24-Hour Drone in Hudson, NY. And now….a 40’ yurt in Chester!
Sink into the drone orchestra's sounds and forget your to-do list for a while.

An Evening of Skywatch + Conscious Connection
Join us for a unique evening under the stars as we gather in community to explore the mystery of our universe through peaceful skywatching and the principles of CE5, a practice centered on conscious, intentional contact.
The evening will begin with a brief discussion on the history of the UFO/UAP phenomenon, consciousness, and the growing conversation surrounding humanity’s relationship with the cosmos. We will then move into a guided meditation designed to cultivate presence, coherence, and a deeper connection with ourselves, nature, and the night sky.
As darkness settles, we’ll spend time quietly observing the sky together while remaining open to whatever the experience may bring. Whether you’re simply curious, have had experiences of your own, or are looking for a meaningful evening in nature, all are welcome.
This is an invitation to explore with curiosity, presence, and an open mind while sharing the experience in a respectful and grounded environment. We selected this date intentionally as it is a total solar eclipse (visible in Iceland) and the middle of the Perseid meteor shower - lots of activity in the sky!

Chris Dunn is an intuitive guide, nature educator, and facilitator of transformational experiences rooted in presence, awareness, and connection. His work blends mindfulness, somatic practices, energy healing, horses, and the natural world to help people reconnect with themselves and discover greater clarity, resilience, and purpose.

Since then, he has facilitated skywatch gatherings and contact experiences in locations across the country, drawing on years of personal exploration, intuitive practice, and a deep respect for the mystery.
Chris creates welcoming spaces where curiosity, presence, and shared experience come together beneath the night sky.

COMMUNITY CACAO CIRCLE // Kailin Marie // AUGUST
CARRYING THE FLAME //
a summer cacao stewardship series
This summer, Adam + Sunni will be taking a gentle pause from personally facilitating cacao circles while the hearth remains lit and trusted hands tend the fire.
For June, July, and August, they are honored to welcome three women they deeply trust to steward the space at Harmony House — each bringing her own medicine, presence, prayer, and way of carrying the cup.
The circles will continue in the heart of Harmony House, held with intention, reverence, and care.
Each gathering will offer its own unique rhythm and expression, while remaining rooted in the spirit of COMMUNITY CACAO — warmth, authenticity, connection, and the quiet medicine of gathering together.
about community cacao circles //
You are warmly invited into an evening of ceremonial cacao, connection, and immersive sound at Harmony House.
These gatherings are designed as spaces to soften, reconnect to the body, and be held in intentional community.
We gather in circle, sip pure ceremonial cacao, and settle into an evening of reflection, presence, music, and shared experience.
Each evening closes with simple, nourishing bites shared together — grounding the experience and tending the body before we part for the night.
about ceremonial cacao //
Pure ceremonial cacao is a gentle yet powerful plant medicine that has been known to ::
• open the heart + deepen connection
• relieve stress + support nervous system regulation
• encourage emotional release
• stimulate creativity + clarity
• elevate energy levels without the crash

This is not a psychedelic experience — it is subtle, embodied, and deeply connective.

River Valley Dance Project Presents // HALOCINE
Halocline is a quietly electrifying, 18-minute performance by River Valley Dance Project that welcomes both seasoned dance-goers and first-time attendees. Five performers move through six interlocking sections—solos, duets, and ensemble passages—where the stakes are simple and human: Can we trust? Can we be held? Can we move together? Performed in the round, the piece brings audiences close enough to sense the dancers’ timing and breath, turning watching into a shared act of attention. Halocline is intentionally crafted to foster deep listening and co-regulation; as weight shifts and hands meet, the room settles into a collective rhythm. The result is an experience that feels at once intimate and expansive—no insider vocabulary required.
You’re invited not to analyze, but to notice: the care in a catch, the humor in a near-miss, the relief of arriving together. Come as you are and let the work do what it does best—connect people.
Following the performance, join River Valley Dance Project for Conscious Connection, a transformative workshop led by director and choreographer Linalynn Schmelzer. Conscious Connection is a trust-centered movement workshop with River Valley Dance Project led by Linalynn Schmelzer, featuring full-body warm-up, solo/group exploration, partnered improvisation, and lifts; open to all levels.
Cost is $30 per person, with a sliding-scale option available for anyone who needs reduced-price tickets.

RE-INSPIRE AND RELEASE BREATHWORK JOURNEY with Johnny Longinidis
RE-INSPIRE and RELEASE BREATHWORK
Through Re-Inspire & Release Breathwork, we embark on a unique journey of self-exploration, creating a sacred space where hiding ends and authenticity begins. In this container, participants gain greater access to suppressed emotions, deep inspiration, profound connection to self, and a sense of unity with the larger whole.
The greatest gift you can give yourself in a session is full permission: permission to express, to be witnessed, to be fully seen… or quite simply, to just BE.
We’re not here to push changes, shifts, or healing. We’re here to gently remind you that there’s never been anything to fix in the first place. You’ve always carried the knowledge, will, and spirit within you to live fully inspired. Perhaps it’s just asking to be uncovered and explored…Let the breath of spirit be your teacher.
How Do We Do This?
A safe, nurturing environment
Personalized support from start to finish
Conscious Connected Breathing—a potent technique that directly influences the central nervous system
120-minute session: Activate, release, affirm, and step into a new space of well-being
Re-Inspire & Release Breathwork can support you if you are ::
Dedicated to living a fully aligned life in mind, body, and spirit
Navigating anxiety, depression, or other symptoms during periods of change and transition
Looking to expand your intuitive gifts
Seeking a powerful complement to your existing therapy practice
Ready to move through despair or grief and welcome more joy and prosperity
Overcoming loss or working through a major life transition
The Technique //
Our breath is intimately linked to the central nervous system. Each breath draws us closer to either a sympathetic (fight-or-flight) state or a parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) state—closer to presence or further from it.
Conscious Connected Breathing is one of the most effective ways to access stored emotions and unprocessed patterns held in the nervous system. This circular breathing pattern helps interrupt old, unhelpful patterns and invites resolution.
In our session, we begin by activating the nervous system to illuminate areas within you that are ready to be witnessed and integrated with our breathing. Research on extended periods of continuous connected breathing has shown correlations with quieting of the prefrontal cortex and default mode network, which can reduce the "thinking mind's" distractions and open clearer access to the subconscious. This creates a powerful opportunity to feel what is truly present, express what needs expression, and connect with your clearest intuition.
We close by gently slowing the breath, infusing the psyche with positive affirmations, and anchoring feelings of well-being in this newly opened space.
Contraindications //
Please note that this practice is not suitable for everyone. It is contraindicated if you have any of the following:
Glaucoma
Recent surgery (within the last 2 months)
Retinal detachment
Recent concussion (within the last 2 months)
Untreated high blood pressure
Severe bipolar disorder
Blood clotting disorders
(Always consult your healthcare provider if you have any concerns or pre-existing conditions)

FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF EARTH // An Immersive Soundbath
Join us 9/26 at theGROVE to gather around 'From the Perspective of earth' - a wordless, genreless expression of the planets by sonic visionary Elly Kace.
Shoes off. Lying down. This is an immersive ritual around the practice of active listening in community.
The night starts with a live, 30 minute sound bath. A chamber ensemble including crystal singing bowls channels while you lie on the floor, fully receiving, exactly where you are.
Then we will experience the full sensory experience of Kace's newest 40-minute album, From the Perspective of Earth, together complete with active listening zine.
One song/page per planet, genreless and wordless, drifting from total ambient stillness into fully danceable grooves and back again.
Every ticket price includes a limited edition physical listening zine designed by Elly Kace that is yours to keep. It contains unconventional graphic scores to follow or scribble on, somatic prompts to notice what's happening in your body as each planet moves through the room, and blank space for your own thoughts as they come up.
The night wraps with a short reception, a soft landing to talk, integrate, and reconnect with the people you just shared a floor with before heading back out into earthly life.
Created by composer and sound healer Elly Kace, this experience is limited to an intimate number of participants. Events like it have already sold out similar runs in Manhattan, Chicago, and Brooklyn, with people showing up in cozy socks and leaving genuinely changed.

A MAGICAL MUSICAL EVENING // with Soma Kirtan + The Almighty Yellow Star
Soma is group of multi instrumentalists who play a blend of meditative soundscapes woven together with traditional Indian kirtan music and inspired folk songs. The result is a Sonic psychedelic tapestry of Esoteric mantras , Dynamic rhythms and Devotional prayers . Soma's live performances are as eclectic as their recordings , landing them in Temples, Churches, Concert Halls, Bars and even Cremation Grounds .
Soma has shared the stage with such incredible artists as Daniel Higgs, Devendra Banhart and Parvathy Baul, and has toured with Tyler Childers and Grails.
Without exception each Song, Vibration, and Drone are treated with reverence, attentiveness and respect which acknowledges Somas link in an unbroken chain to the ancient sounds .
IG @soma_kirtan
The Almighty Yellow Star is a dream-folk trio rooted in New Haven and the Connecticut River Valley. Led by songwriter, poet, and visual artist Kierstin Sieser, the band makes music that reaches toward the devotional, the strange, and the luminous — an attempt to find holiness in everything, even the darkness.
Sieser honed her craft as bandleader of indie-folk outfit Tiny Ocean before stripping things down and getting deliberately more elemental, more devotional. Multi-instrumentalist Paul Belbusti brings percussion, guitar, and synths shaped by years with Mercy Choir and noise-rock duo Rivener, holding an uncommon balance between abstraction and constancy. Samantha Miller’s bass and vocals find the right place every time, an earned instinct that anchors the band’s most searching moments.
As music writer Jennifer Kelly observed, The Almighty Yellow Star makes “eerie, haunted folk music that is sparely instrumented but never minimal, the colors filled in by raw-boned bass, abstract percussion, guitar and Sieser’s trilling, hitching voice.”

the SEASONAL COUNCIL // AUTUMN
A Quarterly Women’s Retreat
the Seasonal Council is a year-long arc of intentional practice and conscious tending.
We gather four times each year — Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter — for a half-day immersion that brings us back into right relationship with the turning of the year and the turning within ourselves.
Some women walk the full cycle of the year as Council Keepers, while others join for a particular seasonal council. Together, we create a circle that is both continuous and ever-changing — just like the seasons themselves.
This is an intentional circle — rooted in presence, participation, and seasonal rhythm. Come as you are, and leave feeling rejuvenated for the months ahead.
+++ Dates + Times listed at the bottom +++
what to expect //
The precise shape of each immersion will shift with the season — spring may invite more time on the land, winter may draw us inward — but the heart of our time together remains the same — attunement, coherence, and conscious tending.
What we weave together may include ::
Ceremonial cacao
Guided meditation + nervous system settling
Structured seasonal reflection + journaling
Song + gentle embodied movement
Neuroplasticity practices that help new patterns take root
Distilled sharing in circle — one voice at a time, held in deep listening
Guided council dialogue — thoughtful conversation and shared wisdom
Restorative Yoga
Sound Journey
Nourishing seasonal lunch + snacks
Guest speakers / teachers
Forest bathing and/or lake swimming (weather permitting)
Seasonal integration packet + goodies to take home
A private Signal group for intentional check-ins, shared wisdom, and continued seasonal practice between retreats.
+++ This group will be intentionally kept small to preserve intimacy & make space for deep connection +++
the arc //
Each gathering builds upon the last.
Together, we:
Honor what is ready to complete
Clarify what we are consciously choosing
Refine focus for the season ahead
Align with both the solar and lunar calendar
Develop shared rhythm and collective wisdom over time
The strength of this container comes from continuity — from staying, tending, and evolving together.
commitment & investment //
the Seasonal Council is a circle that gathers across a full cycle of the year.

Both are meaningful ways of participating in the council.
COUNCIL KEEPER // Full Year — 4 Retreats :: $800
(payment plan available — 1/2 in Spring and 1/2 in Summer)
Council Keepers walk the year together, witnessing one another across the seasons. If a gathering must be missed, seasonal materials and integration resources will be provided, and Keepers remain connected through the group thread as the year unfolds.
SEASONAL COUNCIL // Single Retreat :: $250
For those who feel called to join for a particular season, or who are not able to commit to the full cycle. Each seasonal council is its own complete circle, while also part of the larger rhythm of the year.

Monthly KIRTAN with the OMies // NOVEMBER
Join The OMies at their monthly residency at theGrove for joy, love, and song!
Kirtan is a call-and-response style of music that invites you to sing, connect, and open your heart—no experience needed. Together, we’ll gather in community to lift our voices, welcome in more light, and connect with ourselves and each other in a meaningful and joy-filled way!
BIO //
The OMies are a kirtan band comprised of Megan Mulrine and Justine Wheeler on harmonium, vocals, and kartals, Rebecca Pepitone on guitar, and Kevin Gallagher on percussion (mridangam, djembe, and more). What began as a weekly kirtan practice for Niantic Yoga blossomed into original songs, joyful gatherings, and deep friendship through music.
Together, the OMies lead blissful, heart-opening kirtan around Southeastern Connecticut and beyond. Our mission is simple: to remind all hearts of their joyful connection to the divine—and of the power of sharing your own voice.
We believe singing together is one of the most direct paths to joy, healing, and belonging. You don’t have to be a “singer” to join us—just a human with a heart. We often invite friends to hop on stage and sing along, because the OMies aren’t just a band… we’re all OMies.

COMMUNITY CACAO CIRCLE // Lara Woolfson // JULY
• enhance feelings of warmth, presence, and alignment
This is not a psychedelic experience — it is subtle, embodied, and deeply connective.
exchange //
$45 — Circle Exchange
$50 — Supporter Exchange
$55 — Steward Exchange
$0 — Scholarship Seat (1 available per gathering)
If you are in a season of abundance, choosing a higher tier helps support accessibility for others.
One scholarship seat is available for each gathering and is offered with love. If it is visible in the registration drop down menu, it is available.
+ 5% of every gathering is donated to Huaca Montegrande in Peru, honoring the ancestral lands and traditions that carry the spirit of cacao.

COMMUNITY CACAO CIRCLE // Victoria Moon // JUNE
Limited space — advanced registration required.

∆ victoria moon
Victoria is a ceremonialist, herbalist, mother, tattoo artist, and owner of Root + Ritual Tattoo in New Hartford, CT — a healing arts space devoted to reconnection and transformation. Her path has been shaped by years immersed in earth-based ceremony and plant medicine traditions, with cacao as a primary teacher and ally. Rooted in the belief that spiritual practice begins in the body, she creates spaces where people feel safe, seen, and deeply held.
∆ what to expect
This month’s circle invites us to slow down, soften, and step outside the pace of modern life — returning to the simple medicine of gathering in presence and community.
Through ceremonial cacao, reflection, song, and shared experience, participants will be guided into deeper connection with themselves, one another, and the living world around them.
Together, we gather to remember that healing often happens in relationship — and that we are safe, supported, and deeply connected.

SPRING CLEANING DAY @ theGROVE - Part 2!
Have you been curious about what we are working on here at theGROVE? Or just looking for a way to help?
We would love for you to join us for a community work day at theGROVE as we tend the land and prepare the space for the season ahead. We’ll be clearing and refreshing trails, removing invasive plants, pruning and cutting back dead growth, raking, planting, and generally waking the land up after winter.
This is a hands-on, come-as-you-are kind of day — many hands make light work, and it’s a beautiful way to spend time outside and care for a place that cares for so many of us.
Refreshments will be served.
Please bring gloves, tools, and tick spray if you have them.
All are welcome.
