In a world experiencing chaos and change, realize that through the practice of somatic breathwork and cold exposure you can nurture clarity, peace, and deep spiritual connection. By mastering breath holds and embracing the nervous system curative power of cold immersion, internal protectors relax and the true Self emerges.

Now is the time to fortify your nervous system so the body and soul can fulfill the purpose you were born to serve. We are all tempted by distractions, drawn to fleeting pleasures, but do not lose sight of your own path. This is a time on earth for conscious reflection on who you are and what you engage with. Join us for an afternoon of breath mastery and cold exposure and learn to cultivate inner wisdom and calm. What you cultivate within will grow and spread it to others. This is surely a thing with doing.

Details //
When we practice Wim Hof Breathing, we alkalize the blood, reducing acidity and inflammation. The ice bath activates the mind and body and optimizes our metabolism on a cellular level. Together, the breath and the ice reduce inflammation, increase mental cognition, and support you in tapping into your own physical endurance and mental and emotional commitment. The Wim Hof Method will activate feelings of peace and joy and help you to find an inner strength you never knew you had. 

General Flow //
 + Brief introduction of the history and techniques of the 3 pillars of the WHM
 + Exploration of the mechanics and physiology of WHM Breathing, including its effects on the respiratory, circulatory, nervous system and the crown chakra.
+ WHM Breathing Session 
+ Break w. Light Snack
+ Mechanics and health benefits of cold exposure
+ Cold Plunge in the tub (always optional, 90 seconds max for first timers)
+ Horse dance to activate brown fat and warm the body
+ Snacks

What to Bring //
+ Comfy clothes to do the breathing, a warm sweatshirt and sweat pants for after the plunge. 
+ Yoga mat
+ Notebook (if you want to take notes)
+ Bathing suit, towel, flip flops
+ Open heart and mind

Lauren is a Level 2 Wim Hof teacher. She was certified in 2022 with Wim in Poland. She is a certified Jungian Dream Analyst and does group and one-on-one Integration Coaching based on the Deep Heart Traditions of the Sufi Mystics.
