The result is a Sonic psychedelic tapestry of Esoteric mantras , Dynamic rhythms and Devotional prayers . Soma's live performances are as eclectic as their recordings , landing them in Temples, Churches, Concert Halls, Bars and even Cremation Grounds .
Soma has shared the stage with such incredible artists as Daniel Higgs, Devendra Banhart and Parvathy Baul, and has toured with Tyler Childers and Grails.
Without exception each Song, Vibration, and Drone are treated with reverence, attentiveness and respect which acknowledges Somas link in an unbroken chain to the ancient sounds .

The Almighty Yellow Star is a dream-folk trio rooted in New Haven and the Connecticut River Valley. Led by songwriter, poet, and visual artist Kierstin Sieser, the band makes music that reaches toward the devotional, the strange, and the luminous — an attempt to find holiness in everything, even the darkness.
Sieser honed her craft as bandleader of indie-folk outfit Tiny Ocean before stripping things down and getting deliberately more elemental, more devotional. Multi-instrumentalist Paul Belbusti brings percussion, guitar, and synths shaped by years with Mercy Choir and noise-rock duo Rivener, holding an uncommon balance between abstraction and constancy. Samantha Miller’s bass and vocals find the right place every time, an earned instinct that anchors the band’s most searching moments.
As music writer Jennifer Kelly observed, The Almighty Yellow Star makes “eerie, haunted folk music that is sparely instrumented but never minimal, the colors filled in by raw-boned bass, abstract percussion, guitar and Sieser’s trilling, hitching voice.”
